Residential
the granary, little ellingham, norfolk
the brief here
was to conclude the project on site as quickly and efficiently
as possible; all in the wake of previous designer who had been
sacked by the client.
the granary was
one of three units, on which work had already begun and the building
really just required final fixtures and fittings in order to execute
the original designer's intention.
my work involved
an appraisal of design & site work, evaluation, and eventually
an internal re-design so as to enable the internal spaces to work
better in a sequence based on the traditional domestic model of
use.
the project was
an interesting process of learning about bespoke building materials
and once again it involved some time spent working physically
on site during university vacations.
